After being on gonal f for five days, cetretide for two days and not feeling any change in myself (apart from lower back ache for one day) I really thought I hadn't responded to the injections.. No bloating, no discomfort, no headaches..

I was totally dreading my scan!

Today was also the first appointment which my fiancé couldn't make so I went along with my friend.

The consultant was impressed with the measurements for the lining of my womb and she counted 20+ follicles, the largest being 8mm, although I do have until Saturday for growth and changes to occur before egg collection next week.

I was just so happy I obviously shed a few tears! Its such a rollercoaster of emotions. I feel happier knowing something is actually going on inside me 😄❤️ fingers and toes crossed we're on the right track!!

Excellent news!!!

Sounds like we’re pretty much at the same point hun. We’re looking at EC next week too. I had my day 7 scan yesterday and as you were, I was so nervous they would tell me it hadn’t worked again, but all looking lovely and promising.

It’s nice knowing there’s a cycle buddy on here ☺️
