Did anyone have a vitamin D test when going though IVF

Yes I did. It came back really low and I had to take supplements.

I think everyone should have this test. It’s a standard one to tick off the list.

Yes I did and mine came back really low as well so got prescribed some strong ones that I took twice a week by the doctor. I did that twice but now I just take a normal one everyday. They haven’t tested again.

Yes. Along with the thyroid one. My clinic always tests for this at the begininb of s cycle

Yes, my NHS clinic does it for everyone I think. But one of the last things they test. My clinic sent the result to my GP but nobody told me the result! This caused a delay of a couple of months as it was so low that the nurse was surprised I was functioning 😂 I'd advise that you take vitamin D supplement over winter in any case if in UK as most people need it. Especially in the north?! And follow up on your result! 💗💕

Yes I did. Mine also came back low. I’ve been taking 1000IU a day. Are you from the UK? If so it’s common for Vit D to be low.

Yes GP did it before referring us to NHS fertility clinic and I’m sure the clinic did it again. Mine was low (has been in the past too) so I added in supplements again. The nurse told me everyone in the UK should take vitamin D in the winter anyway as we don’t naturally get enough and keeping it going throughout the summer should do us no harm xx

Yes for the last two rounds it was tested before I started drug protocol. Came back within range both times. I take Zita West’s vitamin D spray daily & pregnacare multivitamin. Xx

Yes mine was low so I took some supplements only up until 1st cycle beginning of this year, now taking omega 3, DHEA, CQ10- feel like my bodys a rattling pill machine heading to our third cycle beginning of next year, good luck! ❤ X
