My period came after 18days .....should i be worried

hello ladies....i need some advice pls. i have had regular periods all my life a 28 day cycle. i am now 40 soon to be 41. i had IVF in aug but became a poor responder and they cancelled my cycle. my next period was came but was a week late. doc said we can try IUI but when i went for my baseline scan they found 2 cyst in right ovary (probably due to the clomid). i was then told to wait for my next period. my period was due oct 16th but it came today. my clinic is not even wanting to see me until my next period which i getting really hacked off about. should i be worried to have a shorter cycle this month? im on no drugs but lots of vitamins ie DHEA, ubiquniol, VD, VE, etc. my AMH is 2.56 as well...

oh and normally my periods last 6-7 days but the period after my IVF only last 3 days of bleeding and now my oct period has come early. i am a little concerned and don't feel supported by my clinic.

I had that aftermy failed fresh round lovely. I think mine even lasted 12 days. I think its all the drugs etc that shake up your cycles xx

This also happened to me,my period came on day 9 of fresh transfer in July. had period bit later than normal month after then bled again 17 days after! I had convinced myself it was perimenopause ( I'm 37 but with similar amh to you....poss lower now) however have just got a natural BFP ( however early days) so I wouldn't worry too much! Keeping everything crossed for you in the future xxx

thank you so much to you both. congrats kath i pray for you. i have my baseline scan on thursday and i am sending out positive vibrations to say my previous cyst have gone. also its my birthday thursday so the universe will be kind to me.

I am usually regular like a clock but 3 days early the 3rd jan only bled for 4 days yesterday I had spotting today a full blown period 10 days early I’m up to date with my smear I have them yearly due to hpv but cells never changed I’m thinking it’s something serious
