When should I expect my period?

I was wondering if anyone knows when I should expect a period after a failed fresh cycle. I have had a withdrawal bleed and been told by my clinic that it is not an actual period

They were not able to give me any guidance as in terms of rough estimate next month? 6 weeks etc? Im just getting anxious and want to start planning next steps. Thank You!

I had my withdrawal bleed and then my period followed as per its usual number of days after a bleed.

My period took ages to come, I think 38 days or something!? but they told me that was normal.

Usually my cycles are about 30-32 days, but after the withdrawal bleed it was 37. Other people I know also had a delayed cycle.

Thanks. I just tried to do a rough estimate of dates and timings as I had a holiday booked end of May looks like I may need to cancel. I feel like this journey always puts a stop on all other journeys can never seem to plan anything and when I do its always a "what if?" Or if this cycle works I would be x no of months pregnant so i could or couldn't do that!

My cycle is usually 25-27 days and it arrived on day 29 instead. Just slightly delayed but I think every body will be different x

Thanks for replying x

I hate to say it but anything goes in my experience - some rounds my next period came bang on 4 weeks later - other cycles it was a little longer (5 - 5 1/2 weeks). It feels like if you have decided to start next cycle it will be late but if you are having a month off it will be on time 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ it does all calm down though I promise xx

Hi there I had a similar experience I’m normally with 28 days but after my failed cycle it was 42 days before my cycle reappeared but I’m back to normal now so no need to worry, it’s just the meds messing with your hormones. Good luck with your next cycle when you get to it xx
