Irregular Periods after failed IVF?

I just wondered if anyone knows if this is normal.

My 2nd IVF round failed after none of my eggs fertilised in early May, then followed my period as expected.

This month I’m currently 5days late, I did a pregnancy test yesterday which was negative (🙄) but still nothing...

I’m usually regular as clockwork every 28days. Is this normal after IVF, could the drugs still be in my system over a month later?

I think this is pretty common Jennifer. I actually can't remember what happened after my 2 failed cycles 😂 but if can take a couple of cycles to get back to normal. Really sorry your May cycle wasn't successful xx

So sorry your cycle didn’t work out, yes this is super common and they may take a few months to sort themselves out, quite often mine actually went to a different pattern to previously but always ended up getting back into a routine, I know it’s maddening so sending you a hug x

My cycles lots their mind for a couple of months after a failed cycle (my favourite was the 14 day cycle - like how is that even posssible!) but then went back to clockwork after 3 bleeds. It totally sucks & clinics should warn you. X

I had a failed transfer in April and I've been all over the place since, I haven't ovulated yet. Clinic says it usually takes about 3 months but its frustrating. Sorry your cycle didn't work.

Sorry to hear about your failed transfer. I had the same concern too, my failed transfer in Mar, and I didn’t get my period until mid May, and then June I’m back to normal again, so it sometimes take a while.
