Starting Ivf

Hi I’m 26 amh 1.1pmol, 3 follicles each ovary. I have conceived three times before one live birth,one,top and one ectopic.I am starting IVf and was told by my clinic I need hysteroscopy before commencing treatment has anyone had one before ?

Hi Kaya, It’s standard way to check if Fallopian tubes are blocked! Good luck!

Hi I have had this one done already, I had a laprascopsy done last month and was told my right tube is blocked my Ivf clinic know this,they said they need to check my womb cavity?

Oh i see. Sorry, ignore me! I'm getting confused with another procedure called HyCoSy to put dye through the fallopisn tubes to check if they are blocked. I found it too painful and nearly fainted so they had to stop (I am rubbish with pain so no surprise there!). They then offered me a laprascopsy to check my tubes. I asked them if it was really necessary and whether it needed to be done in order for IVF treatment to go ahead. They told me i was already a candidate for IVF. I decided against it. Sorry, this is not at all relevant to your situation. I'm sure loads of ladies on here will have experience to share. I hope it goes well for you. Xx
