Any FET success stories with day 2 embryo, 5 cell grade 2???

Hi All,

I had my egg collection couple weeks ago and from 3 follicles, i got only 1 embryo, which is frozen.

Its a day 2 embryo which is grade 2 and 5 cell. They needed it to be 4 cell but mine is 5.

Feeling quite low and got my hope pinned on this little baby. Any success stories shared would be much appreciated.

Hey Joey I did icsi fet 5 years ago and only had one embryo and I got pregnant first go. I’m now doing it again much older and got 5 embryos let’s wish us both luck x

(Im from London too :)). May i ask what the grade and cell number of your successful FeT was? Many congrats on your success back and than and also managing 5 embryos this time xx

Hi joey. When I first started out in the fertility business, we only ever did Day 2 or Day 3 transfers, as we didn't have the expertise to grow embryos on to Day 5. We still got many pregnancies and live births, so if you have to transfer earlier than you hoped, they will be back inside you where it/they belong. Good luck! Diane

Many thanks. Im particularly concerned about the grade 2 and 5 cells - worried the cell division is above the 2-4 cells for a day 2 embryo and also its grade 2. Its my only shot so cant stop thinking about it.
