Natural FET

Hiya, so our first round failed and we are due to have natural FET 6 days after I get a positive ovulation test.

We have 2 day 5 blastocysts and I really want to use them both as I’m 37 but the clinic is recommending single transfer. I have it in my head that if the last one didn’t implant and we have single this time and that doesn’t implant then the other one won’t. I’ve also asked for more progesterone as I was only on 1 a day last time and my period came the exact day it was due 😔They have said I will be on one again this time as my body is producing enough but surely not if I bled early!

I know this is only our second round and lots of you have done this so many times but ’m seriously losing all hope and feeling like I’m wasting my time and that I will never be a mummy 😢

In need of some positive stories from anyone who has been in the same situation! I’m pretty sure we get this far naturally and it just never implants xx

Hi hun, totally understand how you feel. I've recently been through the same thing, failed fresh with 1 embryo, then a failed FET with my remaining 2 embryos. Now I'm just about to do another fresh cycle and hoping that a new protocol will mean that history won't repeat itself, and will result in healthier and more embryos... there is always hope, so don't give up yet! ❤

It's so hard to know what to do for the best regarding 1 or 2, some people have better chances with FET because the body has less hormones so there is every chance it will work. Wishing you the best of luck🤞💕 xxx

Hi lovely,

Thank you for replying 😊

So sorry you have had to go through all that disappointment! It’s so unfair!

I hope you’re new protocol gives you a better chance! 3rd time lucky 🍀🤞🏼

I’m feeling a bit differently now as I’ve been speaking to a friend who has given me a more positive view on things.

Thank you so much!

Wishing you all the luck in the world too! Keep me updated 🤞🏼🙏🏻🤞🏼💕xxx

Hello! I’ve just had a failed medicated FET, having a bleed now after stopping all the medicines and thinking of jumping into another FET straight away but natural this time... are you doing back to back as well? Was your first medicated?

my period used to be regular but I have no idea how the IVF would have changed it, so I am really scared whether I have made the right choice of going with natural..

Btw, my clinic also suggested putting back 1 embryo because apparently putting 2 increases the chances by only 5% while risk of complications is higher..

Hiya lovely,

So sorry to hear that, hope you are ok!

We had a fresh transfer that failed and then a natural Fet which fortunately has worked 😊 I’ve never done a medicated fet so I’m not sure how it affects your period.

After our failed fresh I only had one period and then started the fet on the next.

Not sure if my success was due to not having so many meds in my system or pure luck but I’m glad we went for natural.

Hope you’re period stays regular so you can get back to it again! Sending you lots of luck xx
