Prontogest injections causing BIIIIG hard lumps... Ouch!!

I'm new here so hey all! We've done FET but my progesterone levels weren't holding at a good level so have been put onto prontogest in addition to the cyclogest pessaries.... A few weeks into the injections I'm getting a big painful lump on one side of my bum/hip, just above the injection site.... Anyone getting the same and any tips??! Feels like I'm laying on a tennis ball at night! 😂 Thanks! Xx

Hi Snee, I immensely helped by using warm water bottle on the injection site 5 Mins after the injection.

I can feel your pain. I use a hot water bottle on the area before injecting and also warm up the vial. It’s also good to massage the area afterwards. X

Hi. I usually make a hot water bottle and set the vial under the bottle whilst I prepare the needle. Prontogest is a bit thick but once warm it’s more liquidy and easy to inject. After you pinch the skin to inject, massage the area and keep the hot water bottle on the site! It helps me

You pinch the skin? I was told to hold the skin really taut and then inject similar to how you would hold a dart! I was meant to be reducing to one injection every other day but my progesterone level has gone down very slightly and some light dark brown bleeding so back to every day! 🙈
