Free fluid in the pod

The sonography noticed free fluid in the pod at my endometrium scan... Does anyone know what this is and if it’s bad? I just had my day 11 scan of the endo prep for frozen embryo transfer and this was noted on my report... 😬

It could be pid (pelvic inflammatory disease) just take the scan results to your doctor. He/she will prescribe antibiotics if that's the case

Pid?? Oh no! My transfer is in 6 days... does it affect implantation? I would guess that it does 😱

Am not really sure if it affects implantation or not... have you seen your doctor yet with the scan results? Kindly do coz if it's pid he/she might give you 5days antibiotics before transfer... but consult with your doctor for clarity.

Spoke to my RE about it and he says it is absolutely normal...there is always a certain amount of fluid in the POD...what a relief
