Maroonish bleeding in 7th week

Hi ladies, i am in 7th week, with Ivf. still waiting for my first scan on friday. started bleeding today (maroonish ) with light cramps. I called my midwife and she said there is nothing she can do, and unless its red and heavy i shouldnt be worried. But no matter what anyone says i am freakedout . Did anyone had such an exprinece and had normal preganacy??

Hi, this must be so worrying for you! They are right in that there isn’t much the clinic can do but they should be able to see what the cause of the bleeding is on your scan tomorrow. Hoping the scan goes well and gives you some reassurance. I’m thinking of you xx

Thank you Twiglet2, you are right but the wait seems so long but thank God the bleeding is lighter now and i can see some really old blood when i wipe (sorry fot Tmi) . The cramps have almost gone. I hope that is good news !!

I know how you feel, I’m a little behind you at 5+6 and was bleeding for a week, With a massive bleed on Tuesday, before I had a scan yesterday that diagnosed a subchorionic hematoma. The could see the yolk and sac but too early to tell anything else about the pregnancy So I have to go back in a week. At yours tomorrow though as you are 7 weeks they should be able to see a little more and be a bit more certain about things. Rooting for you and your little one 🤗 xx

Oh i am so sorry to hear this, i know how hard this is for you. It is impossible to not panic after going through all those fertilty treatments and finally seeing a ray of hope. I will be praying for you xoxo. My 8th week has started today so i hope they can clearly see through and nothing is wrong.
