Ubiquinone and no ovulation?

Hi lovely ladies! Anyone taking ubiquinone and experienced no ovulation? I just started taking 200mg of Pharma Nord Bio-Quinone Q10 for about a week and whilst my ovulation is usually on day 14, there are no signs of my hormones picking up on clearblue, temperature rising or any other ovulation related symptoms. 🥺Has anyone else experienced the same??

I've been taking the same brand for about 3 months now and it hasn't affected my ovulation. I take 400mg a day.

Thank you very much Cilla1812 🙏

YES! I have been taking the same brand for about 4 months. I have had two months when I didnt ovulate, one month when I did but 5 days late and one when I was bang on time. I think its reasonably common to upset cycles initially. Are you on any other supplements because quite a few can cause your cycle to go a bit screwy.

I decided as I am taking it for egg quality pre IVF I would just live with the months when I didnt ovulate.. obviously would love a miracle BFP but resigned to the fact its unlikely to happen xx

Ah, same here for us it is ICSI first time round, currently planned for early next year! Trying to improve as much as we can beforehand - supplements, acupuncture, mindset... I am taking also Vit C, Zinc, D, folate but I have been taking these for a long time with no impact. It is either the ubiquinone or stress as I had a bone fracture so that definitely didnt help this month! Thank you so much for your reply and best of luck with the IVF! ❤️

Definitely could be stress (ouch!), the drugs or even covid. I know that sounds crazy but I have found my cycles have gone haywire since lockdown started etc because my routine changed so much and when I spoke to a gynaecologist about it they said that it really could have that sort of impact! Bonkers! Keep taking the pills is all I can say! As Ranchu says its not unusual to have the odd anovulatory month anyway xx

I took for 1 full year 200mg as instructed by my consultant and I had no issues with my ovulation. It is saying that there are months when we are not ovulating, so don’t stress too much 🤗

Take care x
