You can take them at a similar time give or take an hour or so. I set an alarm for mine but just took it with breakfast and after dinner, so 7am and 7pm and that worked well as a reminder for me.
Wishing you lots of luck for the rest of your cycle ๐ค๐ปโค๏ธ xx
Thank you for your reply. I kick myself every time I leave the clinic and wish I had asked more questions. My paperwork just says morning and evening. Not overly helpful.
I am starting them tomorrow morning so will try and find a time that's fits in.
I meant a similar time 12 hours apart ๐๐ but I guess you got that. I do the same every time about questions and forgot to ask but there are so many ladies on here with a wealth of knowledge โค๏ธ
I also decided to do back passage (sorry tmi) as I found it less messier. Just a little tip.
Hi there, remember to lie down afterwards! So I take it when I go to bed and when I wake up. I think 30 mins is ideal but Iโm sure I was told 15 mins does the trick. Your body absorbs it quickly. But theyโre pretty gross Iโm afraid!
Good luck with your phone call today ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
I would always do mine after my shower and then the other at night make time to lie down after so you absorb it all and go to the loo before. I had no applicator they are a nightmare but once you get the hang of it will be fine ๐ฅฐ
Thank you. I'm hoping I get the hang of it after a few days. I'm not due back at work until next weds so I have plenty of time to lie down afterwards xx
I did both mine before bed as my shifts were 6am till 10pm alot during the pandemic (transfer was January- due to low levels, a previous early miscarriage and losing my son at 19 weeks I'm on my progesterone until 36 weeks. Currently 31 weeks ๐ค)
Hopefully so!!! Fingers crossed for you lovely. I know different clinics have different opinions- some like them 12 hours apart which I did start doing but it was just impossible so I asked about just taking them at night and they said that was fine x
It sounds like as long as you do 2 a day than all should be fine. Thank you.
Just had my call to say out of the 11 eggs I had collected, 10 are mature and 9 are showing signs of normal fertilisation. This is my first go so not sure if this is good, average or bad but with my low AMH I am taking this as fab news as I didn't think I would get many x x
I'm a high responder as I have sever polycystic ovaries so although a bit more swelling than normal, not much. I wasnt allowed a fresh transfer though so they just froze the good ones x
They say 12 hours apart so I do mine roughly 8am/8pm but occasionally( More so in the evening) Iโve done it a bit later as been busy or had guests and difficult to say sorry just need to go lay down for 30 mins ๐
Iโve put one in my pocket before and by the time I went to use it it had pretty much melted and was so hard to get in and I worried I didnโt absorb any. They are a pain but hopefully are doing their job to help us all.
Iโve had a positive test and am now 5 weeks 3 days, still really early days though and waiting on scan. I will be on pessaries until 12 weeks as long as everything goes well.
Hoping for a successful transfer for you ๐๐ป๐๐ค๐ป
I just did my morning one when I got up which is usually around the same time or at the weekends maybe an hour or two later and then the night one whenever I go to bed...so I don't think there needs to be an exact time unlike other medication.
Someone on here gave me the advice of using a panty liner with them as they can make a bit of a mess! You can use them either vaginally or rectally (tmi!) It doesn't matter as far as the clinic told me x
Yeah ditto. My only advice is to remember everyone has their own journey so sometimes it can difficult to read a lot of negative stories etc.
I've done two rounds of iui which failed and my first egg transfer failed. Had my second one and today I'm ten days post transfer ....I've done five home pregnancy tests which all say positive. Just home from getting my bloods done to find out for sure. It's going to be a long day!!!!! Lol x
And yeah I've been using them 'at the front' too...the odd time there's a little bit of burning or itching and the clinic said I could switch to 'the back end' as it can give you thrush but so far so good x
