So to update - I had my egg collection at Nuffield Woking on Wednesday, and they collected 11 eggs which is amazing! Out of those, 9 were viable and have gone through and fertilised, so now we're waiting to hopefully transfer the blastocysts on Monday
Just wanted to ask - is it common to have really bad cramps at this stage? At first I thought it was just due to constipation (sorry for the TMI!) because the nurses said it was really common, but they told me to take Lactulose, and everything has settled down a bit there, but the cramps are still quite bad. It's interfering with my sleep - woke me up quite early this morning. It's not ALL the time, just comes and goes, but I would have thought it would have settled by now (Saturday) when the collection was Wednesday morning?
Did anyone else have this? Thanks so much! xx

Hey Bec, yes I’ve had it post egg collection. I found paracetamol and a hot water bottle helped. Don’t use the hot water bottle after u have had your transfer though. Congratulations on 11 eggs, that’s a fabulous result, hoping you get your bfp and feel better soon xx
Hi bec_83. Oh that’s not nice. You could try some Fybogel too, to soften your “poo”. Could be due to leg positioning too during egg collection, causing spasms. Make sure you drink plenty of water too, in case your ovaries are still a bit active, which I feel is the most likely cause. Paracetamol and rest is the order of the day! Hope you soon feel ok and good luck with transfer. Diane
Hi there I had egg collection on Monday and occasionally still get cramping and am finding it's mainly wind. I got some prune juice from Holland and Barrett and it's so helped with the other 🙈 (sorry tmi). The cramping has gotten better and less frequent as the week has gone on. Hope you feel better soon xx
