Suspected MC *Please Help*

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this and new to pregnancy. It’s my first.

I had a 5 day embryo transfer (frozen) in July, and I was lucky enough to receive a positive test. I then tested again and again just to make sure I think.

I then did a test on Monday afternoon and the weekly test had gone from 2-3 weeks to 3+ weeks. Everything good.

Then yesterday I had pms cramps nothing bad but noticeable, then a red bleed (tmi sorry).

I rang the clinic spoke with doctor and was told don’t panic - it then stopped and I had a light brown discharge.

Woke up this morning and contacted clinic to say no more blood or discharge (brill news to them).

Then 2 hours later the cramps are worse like a general monthly period and the red blood is back heavier, (not covering a full pad but not just when I wipe)

I cannot get hold of doctor and I’m just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this and what became of it?

I’d appreciate any help or advice.

Are you able to self refer to your EPU? They would at least be able to scan you and give you some direction.

I know its soooo hard not to panic, but I have seen as many people on this forum have heavy bleeds in early pregnancy and go on to have a successful birth as I have those who ended in MC so it doesnt need to be bad news. My sister bled heavily for 2 weeks at about 10 weeks but her baby is now 2

Its such a worrying time and there is little you can do to influence the outcome other than keep calm and try not to stress too much (impossible). However at least if you self refer you are in someone elses hands and they may be able to help.
