Urgent! lipiodol hsg

I am meant to be having a lipiodol hsg tomorrow evening but just been informed that there is no lipiodol and the cost increase may mean they won't get it or could try get a deal. My dilemma is go tomorrow without lipiodol or wait a month and hope they managed to get lipiodol. I have researched the benefits of lipiodol but not sure if it's worth holding off or going ahead as we don't have any evidence to suggest issues with tubes anyway. What would you do defo need guidance from people who get it. Thanks

Hi Hopefulwoman. My feelings are that I would still turn up for the HSG as they will most likely have a contrast medium that is in general use. It will do the same job to identify any blockage/salpinges in your tubes. Good luck! Diane

Yeah I was thinking this also but disappointed lipiodol won't be available as it can add real benefit and I had felt more optimistic with it. Feel bit deflatted that its not available. Thanks for your help x
