Strange and unpleasant question...

Hi, so I put on this morning that I'm having brown spotting and thinking AF is on its way 5 days before I'm meant to test (11dp 2dt). So through the day I've had cramping and the spring is now brown and some fresh on my liner. But (and I'm sorry if this is too much info) I've also noticed quite an unpleasant smell along with it. I'm thinking I should contact my clinic to ask if this is normal but thought I'd ask in here too. I've not tested yet and continuing with progesterone pessaries. I'm holding on testing till Friday but I think im out really because I am sure this is a bad sign. Anyone have anything similar???? Any advice???

Any sort of odour can indicate an infection. So whilst spotting isn’t necessarily bad news and could be implantation I would still call your clinic re the smell and get checked out. Good luck x
