Strange spotting when I actually want a period!

Hi all,

Wondered if anyone could help...I've been waiting for my full flow this month so I can tell the clinic it's my cycle day 1.

The only time I actually want a period to start and all I've had for the last 2 days is slight brown spotting when I wipe, nothing on the pad (sorry tmi!!)

I had both Fallopian tubes removed in June so pregnancy is highly unlikely, although I'll grab a test today to make sure.

All I'm wondering is if this is something to worry about moving forward? Is it going to delay my treatment...so typical it's this month it's happened :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

xx

Just to say I get this some months & everyone has told me it's nothing to worry about . Not really sure what the cause is but if it's not implantation bleeding (I hope this every time I see it!) then I'm sure your normal af will kick in over the next few days. Good luck with your cycle xx

Don't worry, a lot of us we're same on here, think it can be the stress that delays it, but if it does not arrive they will give you something to induce it, your in safe hands xx🤞

Hi Hun. I've just had this this cycle. I've been quite poorly with a virus as well so wondering if that is part of it. I didn't start properly glowing until two days after I expected. I think it's down to hormone imbalance. I used to get it for over a week and saw a homeopath who told me it was that. She sorted it out for me and I stopped this early spotting. I'm assuming that after all of the drugs from ivf that my hormones are still out of whack so putting this down to it. I hope that helps. I can highly recommend seeing a good quality homeopath though. xxx

Hi LiLi19. This could just be down to a slight luteal phase deficiency, and your womb lining has not built up properly. Try not to worry about it too much, as it can be rectified, should that be the case. Things don't always happen when we want them to - it's so annoying! Thinking of you and hope all soon rights itself. Diane
