Have any of you been advised to take this as a supplement to aid egg quality and general internal wellbeing?

Yes, I'm taking 200mg ubiquinol - don't know about egg quality yet but I definitely feel much better on it x
I am also on 200mg of ubiquinol. I’ve read so many conflicting things regarding the dose you should take and started panicking I’m not taking enough 🤷🏼♀️ but I think 600mg is the max x
Hello
The fertility specialist here in the States told me to take 600mg so I did for three months and then stopped after egg retrieval. We did get good results so who knows, maybe it’s down to taking it to some extent.
I think it’s 600mg of CQ10 but if you take pure ubiquinol it’s 200mg - I’m on it too and optimistic about improvements x
That’s what I read too. I take pure ubiquinol from Holland & Barrett. I get confused between ubiquinol and ubiquinone. It’s a minefield out there lol x
Do you take Solgar brand? I purchased solgar and it says Ubiquinol so guess thats pure ubiquinol? So confused, 🙄
Hey, no I take the standard Coq10 in the red bottle. I think it’s the reduced form I take. Oooops! Too late to up my intake now 😫😫 xx
Hi hun, I'm confused too! Lol, I've been taking Health Thru Nutrition,Ubiquinol 200 Milligram EAF CoQ10 (Enhanced Absorption Formula Coenzyme Q10 as Kaneka Ubiquinol) 30 Softgels
Is this the q10 or pure stuff?..I've been taking 2 per day so 400mg...is this too much?
Xx
Thank you. Really appreciate the quick responses and to hear your own experiences with it. Best wishes to you all xxx
Yes I did for 3 months before egg retrieval and it did seem to make a difference along with a Mediterranean diet and removing all chemicals from our lives.
I’ve only just been told by my consultant and starting our second cycle of treatment tomorrow 😬 I hope it’s not too late.
I think you shouldn't worry. It's not a hard and fast guarantee and people say different things, so it depends who you choose to listen to 🤷♀️ when we are prepping for ivf we are very vulnerable and respond to every bit of info we hear , I know I did. But I now believe there is no one single thing that will make or break the result, i think its about all the good steps you take combined, plus a bit of unknown from nature. If you've been taking some ubiquinol you will already have increased your levels and that's good. Xx
Just to say I took 200mg of ubiquinol 3-4 months before my cycle and for the first time ever in 5 years of doing IVF I got a ‘Top Grade’ embryo which was transferred yesterday. It was however my only 1 so I would say it Defo helps with quality but not quantity. Not bad though for my age (44)
Yes I've been taking 200mg CoQ10 every day (mostly) for the past two years and had my first egg collection (freeze all) a few weeks ago and got two good quality embryos. Doctor was shocked that 100% of normally fertilized eggs made it to freeze. This was out of 4 follicles (short protocol). I don't think it will give you more eggs, but it seems to strengthen the ones that you do make, which is the most important thing, really. Best of luck xx
I had the same experience as Luxfleur, same number of eggs but much better quality. I put it down to the ubiquinol as that was the only major change between cycles x
