I had a miscarriage last march and have been trying to conceive since. I have just started the process of being referred for infertility tests. Have a scan and bloods today. Just wanted to reach out to others who have been through the process and if you have any advice. I am going to try and see a counselor who can offer therapy and also things like acupuncture and yoga. Has anybody tried these? Also, I have high prolactin levels. I have another blood test to check but does anybody know if there are natural ways to bring this down or would it be tablets? Thank you in advance for any replies and I wish you all luck on your own journeys xxx

Acupuncture and Yoga helped me so yes defy do these...i took time off work during my last cycle...and we both took our supplements...cooked did cross stitch slept loads...before it started i tried to get into shape with going to gym had 4xweekly PT sessions. Read it starts with the egg by Rebecca Fett lots of tips to think about. Recommend doing any tests they advise...Good luck xx
I had a very similar situation to you at points - never really worked out why my prolactin levels were high. I had to have a different blood test 4 hours after waking and they then said it was ok 🤷♀️ Although I’ve had this before when not ttc so who knows! It was nothing to do with the cause of my infertility though. I found the part you are going through really hard as I was desperate to have a answer and for someone to tell me why. I did yoga and acupuncture. Acupuncture was great for relaxation for me. I prefer more intense exercise so yoga didn’t really do it for me. Take things slowly and use your weekends to restore your mental health and do whatever it takes to relax. All the uncertainty of testing to find out answers takes it toll so be kind to yourself. Good luck with everything xx
Thank you for your lovely replies and your advice :-). I will look into yoga and acupuncture. As you say it the unknowns and waiting that takes it's toll. I have got that book you recommended so will start to read that. Thank you both for the tips. Hope you are both doing well and good luck xx
