First time writing here , really need your help . I did embryo transfer ( 3 days embryo - fresh cycle) a week ago , have slightly fever , 37.7 , was diagnosed for OHSS, did blood test and scan there was some fluid in my stomach but apparently doesn’t need to be treated at hospital ( since it’s getting better )
Today at the day 8 of transfer I noticed my temperature is raised below 38 but still hight ,
I was told by the nurse today that there is kind of inflammation in my blood test and it seems that my body is fighting with something ,
Really anxious and wondering if it’s gonna affect the pregnancy, I was happy since I taught hight body temperature is sign of early pregnancy. But now so disappointed,
Does any body have the experience on this ? Please advise 🙏🏼

Never had experiance but people get infection all the time especially urine infections after transfers , did you clinic give any anti biotics after transfer mine always did , if you keep feeling ill I would speak to them again hopefully it’s just side affects of everything that’s gone on , and I don’t think it would affect anything but obv I’m no expert.
Thanks for your info. Yes I was on antibiotics for a week and it’s just finished. Yes I think my body messed up after egg collection ( since 46 eggs has been collected) xxx
Hi Natasha, I hope I can help a little. I think what the nurse could be referring to is your CRP markers (c-reactive protein). This is an inflammation marker that is elevated in the blood when you are fighting an infection. These are elevated even for minor infections. As the previous poster said this could be a water infection. I think the nurse hasn't explained it properly (if it is CRP) and probably scared the cr*p out of you. Everyone has CRP markers and they get elevated even without us knowing and without symptoms sometimes. I'd say if your temperature is coming down and you're feeling better then your body is doing it's thing. Keep an eye on how you're feeling and if you start to feel worse speak your centre straigh. Big hug and best of luck. Xx
Hi Natasha. Hopefully if you are on antibiotics that will sort you out. It shouldn't have any effect on your developing embryo. Plenty of water to drink and rest when you can, and hopefully you will soon feel better. Diane
