So I got the phone call this morning. I was absolutely convinced that my little egg hadnβt survived the night but the embryologist said it has fertilised normally despite the vacuole (which is still visible) now Iβm holding my breath again for tomorrowβs call π€¦π»ββοΈ !
Love and luck to you all πͺπ»xx

Oh wow thatβs great!! I had exactly the same happen to me last round but from 3 follicles at collection. My little boy is nearly six months old ππ»ππ» Very very best of luck β¨πXx
Morning, sending you masses of luck, your story is similar to mine so you are very much inspiring me to keep going ππ»πxx
Exactly. Never heard of one before but Iv spent since egg collection reading scientific papers on them π itβs a fluid filled sac that indicates abnormalities. We still donβt really understand much about them π€·π»ββοΈ If my egg had burst on injection or failed to fertilise they would have said itβs probably because of the vacuole. But it survived icsi and fertilised normally so π€
Wonderful news!! I only had one fertilised egg that was half decent (good to average) due to low AMH and had it put back in on day 3 as it wasnβt developing as it should and here I am holding my 8 month old baby girl. It only takes one!! Lots of love and baby dust xxxx
