Only 1 egg fertilised

As u can guess, out of my 7 eggs only 1 fertilised. I cried for half the day and realised that crying is not gonna solve anything. Not sure if this precious one will make it. Not sure what to do if this fails. No more strength for second round of IVF.

I'm really sorry you're feeling deflated. Cry for as long as it helps. Once you find your strength again, put every bit of positive energy into this little embryo. There's always a chance things will/won't work out in this journey but right now you have a little embryo fighting for you. Wishing you loads of luck. Xx

Sorry to hear 1 fertilised only. But 1 is all you need. My first round I had zero, you still have hope. Don’t worry about what is next at this point, take each day of this cycle as it comes. If it is unsuccessful, take time to rest and heal before you make any decisions. Best of luck! X

I am so sorry, I understand the disappointment of low numbers but hopefully that 1 egg is the one for you! Do you know if they are planning a day 3 or day 5 transfer? I was meant to have a day 5 this round however I only had 1 egg fertilise normally so I requested a day 3 transfer as I was worried I wouldn't make it to day 5. I couldn't handle the thought of going through all the injections/drugs/IVF and have nothing to transfer. At least there is some hope if the embryo is inside you developing. Sending lots of love xx

Mine is gonna be frozen cause my consultant only does frozen transfers. I'm praying so hard this little one makes it to day 5 to be frozen.😪

I really hope your little one makes it to day 5! I found the waiting for updates on my eggs the hardest bit of the process. So stressful! I hope you have good news. xx

I'm so sorry. That happened to me before too. My clinic only does freeze all cycles but because I only had one egg fertilise they agreed to do a 3 day transfer. Their thinking was it stands a better chance in my womb than trying to make it to day 5.

It's worth asking your consultant.
