On 2ww after frozen embryo transfer

Hi everyone.I'm new here. I've been reading some post and all ready starting to feel hopeful again. I had my 2nd frozen embryo transfer on 20th July. So I'm currently on 10dpt 5dt. I stupidly started testing early as my 1st fet I got a bfp on 4dpt. And got positives all the way to testing day and on digital just to be told it was a chemical. This time seems so different I started testing 3dpt of which I thought I could see a faint line. 4dpt was very similar. I then continued to test with different brand tests up to day 7 which sent me in to a complete loop hole I never wanted to go down. Which the test where all bfn. I'm currently on 10dpt and I'm praying there is still hope. I've been put on alot of medication with this one including libon injection, sorry not sure that's spelt right 🙃 I'm unsure if the symptoms I have are from meds or pregnancy. As there mild nothing that really stands out. I'm really hoping I'm still in with a chance, I have such funny feelings one minute I feel I could be and the next I'm thinking no don't feel like I am. I do really regret this time testing early so if it hasn't gone to plan that is one thing I won't be doing again. I didn't know if anyone has had the similar situation and it's end up good news? Sorry to hear about your chemical, it is not a nice thing to go through at all. The medications can often be responsible for symptoms in the 2 ww, they seem to replicate symptoms of pregnancy. For me personally I think by 10dp5dt I would expect to see a second line on a test, I'm sorry if that is upsetting but I know in your shoes I just wanted to know either way. My clinic's official test day was 10dp5dt which is why I have this opinion. I hope I'm wrong and it changes for you x

Yeh last day I tested was 7dpt. So I have no idea if it's changed My testing day is 13dpt. I'm just hoping there is still a chance. Thank you for your reply.

Ah okay. Sorry I misinterpreted your first post. Yes still a chance I think (I thought you had tested at 10dp5dt). Good luck x

That's ok lol. No haven't tested since day 7 as I was getting myself in to a real situation in my head. So you think it might be possible and it might of been to early on 7dpt? 😊

It’s difficult not to wait for test day after transfer. My first FET failed but I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant after my second FET. My symptoms were actually worse the first time round that ended up in a BFN & this time I had bleeding the night before test day & was convinced it was all over only to have a very strong positive appear on 14DP5DT test day.

Sorry to hear of your first not working. But congratulations on your bfp. I'm a little worried today as my back went last night and now I'm in alot of pain and can barely move. Can't have a hot bath to try realise the muscles ect. I'm very unsure what to do been trying to rest but the pain... 😵

Back pain always happens at inopportune moments! Have you been in contact with your clinic to ask what they’d recommend taking for it?

No as I didn't think there would be alot they could do. If I'm the same tomorrow I will call them and see what tye say. I'm not to worried about it in the way of having something to do with transfer it's definitely a trapped nerve.... just my luck. I barely did anything yesterday to.

Medications can indeed cause symptoms that mimic pregnancy, making it even more confusing. Until OTD, there's still a chance for good news. Wishing you the very best. x

Thank you. After reading other posts on here I do have a little hope back we will see test day is in 2 days now. And if that's bfn then we have to test a following 2 days to double check.

I just wanted to update. My test day was Friday. And unfortunately it was BFN and had to retest again today but again BFN. So we have decided to get 5 of our 9 embabies tested, to see if that could possibly help. Thank you for all the replies and the very best of luck to you all 🤞🏻❤️

Thank you for the kind words. I do feel very much more positive then my first tranfer. I'm having moments but that's the hormones that I've finished taking still coming out of my system and still awaiting a bleed. I have a appointment tomorrow at our clinic.
