Hi has anyone had a side affects to the steroids ?

I had lots of symptoms for the 13weeks I was on prednisolone. Insomnia, Hot & cold sweats, extreme hunger, weight gain and swelling in my face.

My skin was extra smooth and glowing tho, all spots and blemishes cleared up

Oh yes i definitely had mood swings too... 😊

Its difficult I know, what dose are you on? Mine was 25mg.... I was snapping at my whole family. Good thing is it does eventually settle down and symptoms stop immediately once you stop taking them.

I had some extra hunger with them and a bit of insomnia....best to be taken in he morning for that reason but because on so many other meds it's hard to pin it down to be honest....those 2 were the ones I did notice though.xx

Hi, I really didn't feel right when taking these, my head felt fuzzy constantly and my skin really glared up. Def try taking them in the morning and after food. Good luck xx

insomnia mainly and feeling really hungry. My clinic has banned them during the pandemic for up to 12 months x

I had no side effects from prednisone- I was on 2x 5mg daily from BFP till 12 weeks as I had slightly raised nk cells . I believe it really helped keep my pregnancy safe & my daughter is now a year old. I took mine in the morning with my breakfast xxx
