I have my FET tomorrow and I just feel so nervous and sick about it ☹️ I had a missed miscarriage in April, had a period in May and agreed to a completely natural FET this month. The clinic won’t scan me beforehand to check lining and they won’t give me progesterone as they said my body should be doing that anyway... I think that’s adding to my worries!
Since the miscarriage I feel like I’ve been a bit more ‘achy’ down there eg ovulation was quite painful and ever since then I’ve just had a dull ache/mild period type pains. My clinic said it’s normal for me to be more sensitive and aware of any pain as I’m focusing a lot more on if now and noticing every twinge.
Anyway, does anyone have any advice on how to get excited for tomorrow and stop the worry!! I want to get into a positive mindset. Also anyone else had a bfp from a totally natural FET? Xxx

Ahh I was wondering how you were! Sorry you’re feeling like this and not excited but it’s completely understandable after what you’ve been through.
Could you maybe ask for a blood test for your progesterone to put your mind at rest? Your body should be producing naturally but we all know how things change each month. I always have progesterone with my natural FETs and am having a test the day before transfer this time too.
I haven’t had a positive yet but wanted to firstly suggest listening to the Mindful IVF app as theres a pre transfer section and a TWW section too for each day - literally 10 mins long and so worthwhile to relax your mind.
And secondly I wanted to say that this is a new time. Try and put the past to the back of your mind tomorrow and tell yourself this is going to work & all that happened before was then, this is now and it’s going to work and be fine this time.
Easier said than done but positivity & relaxing is so important.

Hi Catlady. I pray your fet goes well and that this is the round for you. I can imagine that the lack of tests adds to worries especially when we have experienced a loss before.
If it makes any difference please know i would kill to be in your position. To have that hope again and to know i am doing something to get me closer to my dream. Because this waiting is horrible for anyone who lost hope of natural pregnancy ❤️ and i say that all not to make you feel bad but to encourage you to fight for your dream ❤️ xx

Hi Catlady. Well it is exciting really, as your little one will be back inside you where he/she belongs. Perhaps they could check your progesterone levels with a blood test, just to settle your anxieties?? Worth asking. I shall be thinking of you and hope the transfer is straightforward. Diane

I know when I see the wee embryo on the screen though when they put it back it helps move my mind to hope and excitement so praying that’s the same for you to 🤞🏽Good luck for tomorrow xx
Totally understand the nerves and anxiety. I've never been very good at taking my mind off things, but just try and stay occupied if you can, and everything will go smoothy!! I think success rates are similar with natural vs medicated so try not to worry. Will be thinking of you lovely, all the best for tomorrow 🤞🙏💕 xxxx
My journey for my FET was exactly the same - mmc Nov, period Dec, natural FET Jan, no lining scan and no progesterone. After having a fresh cycle previously I struggled a bit with getting my head round the no progesterone but turns out the clinic were right and my body did it 🙂. I was quite glad a few weeks in as when I had my fresh cycle I found the pessaries messy and I was very bloated.
I completely get your nervousness, especially given your previous loss. Personally I found the build up to be the worst bit. I bet the excitement will kick in tomorrow! Wishing you loads of luck xx
