Natural FET

I’ve just opted for a natural FET at our clinic - consultant isn’t keen as it’s more unpredictable but is happy to go ahead with it as she says the success rates are the same. Anyone have any success stories with natural FETs to share?

I did a natural FET in November and literally just tracked ovulation and when I got surge the clinic booked me in for the ET 5 days later. I did get a BFP but sadly miscarried. I’m seeing it that the treatment side worked x

Thanks Vic, all I have to take is the pessaries (yuk!) - we’re aiming to do the transfer this month, unless it falls on a Sunday as the clinic doesn’t do transfers that day so it would be postponed until Feb. Good luck with the scratch! X

My pregnancy is the result of an unmedicated FET. The dates matched up to my natural cycle, which is very regular.

It was a lot less stressful. No horrible injections. I ate well in the build up to transfer and was so happy my lining was decent at the check up (it was just below standard on my fresh, medicated cycle).

I was terrified our embryo wouldn't survive the thaw but it did. That was the scariest bit.

After the transfer we came home and watched a comedy and after a few days off in returned to work because I'd learnt from the last time that I needed a distraction. I was also less obsessive about eating certain things (pineapple etc).

I'm now in my third trimester and feeling nervous but closer than ever to my dream of motherhood.

Good luck! :)
