Longest month ever.

I am so confused this month. To let you understand, I was taking pregnacare but I felt it really messed up my periods so this month I am back to folic acid and vitamin d, the pregnacare extended my menstrual cycle where as before this I was 28 days regular. So this time, my period started on 20th May which meant my ovulation day would be 4th June, we had sex on 31st May, 2nd May and 4th May. Since yesterday, 9th June, especially today, on and off, it feels like my period is about to arrive , following the app, my period isn't due until the 19th june but even if I went back to my 28 days this would be 16th June, I am so confused, why am I getting period cramps already, can anyone help please? Thank you.

Hi Cheeky. You are taking the Folic Acid to hopefully prevent things like spina bifida in any pregnancy. The Vitamin D are for your bones and eventually to support your developing baby too. They do nothing to alter your hormones or periods. If you are worried, then perhaps ask your GP to order a couple of blood tests to check out your hormones and ovulation. Good luck! Diane
