This month IVF ( Nervous)

I was due to start last month but I was on holiday and I got my period early, so it was very difficult as I was away. Starting this month. I'm very nervous any advice I would be grateful. Xx

Hi im starting this week too - in fact I will start this week when my period arrives. Its the short protocol. Which are you doing?

Hey Nellynel wow it no racking we are doing it to say that's what they said was best for us I can't wait we just want a baby . 14yrs We have been together and using contraception for most of it. 4 years without using it still no baby it makes me wonder why I was taking contraception for so long. Don't get nervous just stay calm and don't think too much I know it's easy said than done but I also had ivf and first time I was successful I've got a baby boy now don't think negative and take it easy . Good luck x

Hi Asi321 thanks for your warming reply so Positive it made me smile. I really am trying to not think to much about it. It keeps going over and over and over in my mind what if I am not successful. But I don't think I can change this right now. Thanks again xx

That's amazing that your IVF worked the first time did they put one or two embryos back and did you get to choose how many to put back?

Thanks I had two embryos put back in I didn't get the choice they suggested that because I only had two good embryos xx r u going for the treatment if u r wish u all the best good luck xx

Hi belle - what has kind of helped me (slightly) is thinking that whatever happens now is out of our hands, what will be will be and we cant do anything to change it,. We need to view it all in stages - start the injections/have the scans/get to egg collection etc... I am really scared as my results have been really (AMH) so I may not even respond and fall at the first hurdle but trying not to think about it. when do you start did you say?

Hi we have been on the ivf waiting list for 3 years start my daily injections gonal-f 2morrow excited and nervous booked in nx fri for another scan gd luck belle-7- any tips would be great full xxxx
