The new clinic should help run

you through it, it’s fairly straightforward.

Thanks I’ve been passed back and forth. My current clinic sent me a release form and said the new clinic will assist and the potential new clinic said my current clinic should sort it out.

Hi lovely, we haven't moved embryos but we did move frozen sperm. Our old clinic gave us the option of either a courier service or transporting it ourselves, the courier was very expensive, for a 45 minute journey so we did it ourselves. Theres a bit of paperwork that needs to be done between the clinics and then we collected it in a shipping container and took it to the new clinic. Theres a bit of toing and frowing between the clinics but it was relatively straight forward, good luck xx

Amazing. The clinics are a 5 min walk from each other but I’ve been sent back and forth. I wouldn’t mind transporting myself as it’s not even a 2 min journey in the car but old clinic have said I cant hire a shipping container from them.

Oh god how annoying! I hope you dont have a big fee to pay for transporting 2 mins away. There is normally an admin charge anyway plus a courier charge if they charge you for that, you could argue it with the distance though, hope it goes ok xx

Hi, we also need to move frozen sperm. How does it work to transport it yourself without it defreezing?

They give you a shipping container (quite big) that has liquid nitrogen in, so theres no chance of them defrosting xx

I also moved sperm recently .....courrier which the clinic recommended (£150 ish for half an hour city transfer ) , paperwork both ends and i had to give permission in writing , check the costs as i was charged £200 by old clinic which i wasn't told about, I am not sure if the Covid situation might require any extra checks ?. there was communications between clinics/ courrier/me but realtively straighforward x
