Hi aamiller405 I also "only" had 4 embryos, starting from 11 collected and 7 fertilised. I was quite upset but remember it only takes 1. I got pregnant on my 2nd FET round, with twins from single embryo transfer:), and on a lower grade embryo too (think it was b-). Best of luck, don't lose hope x
Congratulations! 4 and 3 of them grade A. Its a great result. Sorry for the ones that didn't make it. You deserve to treat yourself now for all that hard work. You've done everything you can and what happens now is out of your hands. Hopefully you get cleated for a FET soon.x
The drop off rate can be quite shocking but just think that you now have 4 good chances of getting pregnant
Enjoy your time between now and FET, look after yourself well to be 100% when that little frosty goes in, not just physically but mentally too which means nice time spent with friends and family and doing stuff you enjoy (maybe stuff you can't do when pregnant like a glass of wine or two and eating sushi!!)
I think that number is about right..I know they say only a small % are ever good enough quality to freeze. It only takes that special one! I had 25 collected and ended up with 6 to freeze. Good luck x
Round one I had 16 eggs and five blastocysts, one used, 4 frozen. We had two bfps from that round. Round two I had 19 eggs, one used, 4 frozen and I’m currently coming up to 18 weeks. 4 is a good number. It’s normal to lose up to and over 50% (of mature, fertilised eggs) along the way xx
