Wow that sounds awful. Have you reported that to the HFEA? I don’t have any advice about moving embryos sorry but I would be doing the same in your position.
We will be yes. We had to seek legal advice, as I specifically said I didn’t want a certain type of meds, and they said they wouldn’t. I took meds home, started taking them, and then googled the name. Came under a different name of what I didn’t want to be put on. The legal term for what they did was ‘assault ‘. Also lied in planning meetings, on 4 separate occasions couldn’t label things accurately... total shambles! So much to report.
Gosh. I don't have any experience of moving embryos but I'm shocked and horrified. I can't believe that clinic is allowed to function!! So sorry you are having to go through this.
I remember asking several times if they could guarantee that it was my eggs and my partners sperm, and our embryos. Thankfully our clinic used a bar code scheme (and there's no doubt our son is genetically ours!)
Wishing you lots of luck. Hope its not too complicated a process!
Oh my god, I hope you get some financial compensation at the very least. Ive moved embryos from Australia to the UK so moving clinics shouldn't be a problem. Good luck
Im in Glasgow. I also used Kynisi and they were great.
Hi! I moved the same embryos twice! I made sure that I was kept in the loop at all times. We used kynisi to move ours and they were great both times. Pm me if you want to chat.x
Omg. This is appalling! You should sue them. This type of care is the last thing you need on the stressful IVF journey. I am speechless it is so shocking. Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience in moving embryos. Have you contacted the HFEA? I send you some positive vibes and hope soon this terrible experience will be over. Take care 💖
I’ll take all the positive vibes and send some back.. thanks for the loving xx
That’s only the half of what they have put me through... my favourite :
once I cancelled my transfer on the grounds that they made me take meds which I specifically said I didn’t want to take, and lied to me about it.... wait for it... they wanted a psych evaluation!!! I said that I ‘would’ do it and ask the psychologist to not take an oath of confidence, and we could use what I said in the court of law... they then withdraw wanting that evaluation for some reason 🤣😂😅
Once I get my documents (which as of today they have promised to take 30days-but legal advice has advised no more than 28days) and once I get my embryos.... I’m ringing HFEA ASAP... I have legal advice. So I’m in good hands, and she absolutely appalled.
Oh my goodness. This sounds awful. We had pretty crap treatment from our first clinic and had to complain but nothing like this!
I hope you find somewhere that looks after you properly. Get that complaint logged. We got compensation for our issues, I’d imagine you’d get the same x
To be honest I think everyone undergoing fertility treatment should keep a close eye on everything no matter how competent their clinic seems. A friend recommended this to me before we started so we were on the alert. Even my current clinic who seems thorough has made errors due to the miscommunication between the Dr and nurses. We shouldn't have to double check everything and do our own research when we have enough on our plate and are stressed enough as it is. I hope you are compensated for their unprofessionalism and that your next clinic treats you properly xx
Thankuuuuuu darling. It true that you definitely have enough on your plate without making sure they are doing their jobs... sigh.. onwards and upwards from here
