IVF TREAMENT CANCELLED

My IVF treatment has been cancelled due to the coronvirus, i was on the buserelin injections for 2 weeks was due to have my first scan and was meant to start the stimulation injection bt it has been cancelled, wanted to find out I am having on and of periods is that normal even had normal period. Thanks.

oh sorry, wanted to ask as my treatment has been cancelled but I had 2 week buserelin injection I had received an phone call to stop having my injection due to the virus going around now started my periods but normally i use to bleed for 5 days but its my 10th day and still bleedin its that normal.

Thanks Naz, that is a v long bleed, alright - must be difficult! Diane (below) has answered your query well. I would agree - the medications really mess up the cycles. In my experience, your next one might be an unusual length too but then hopefully you will get back to normal after that. Mind yourself & hope your wait isn’t too long to try again. xx

Hi naz. Yes, th hormone has to filter out of your system, so it will probably mess up his cycle. All should return to what is normal for you next month. Thinking of you. Diane
