IVF cycle cancelled

Hello ladies,

I just had my IVF cycle cancelled due to my illness ( sinus infection), everything was going great, I had 25 follicles growing and all were very good size, ready for collection and then my estradiol dropped down by half yesterday ...

Anyone had that happen? Mind boggling and disappointing

No wonder you are so disappointed, everything was going perfectly well an then the cycle needs to be cancelled...

I was more scared that something similar would happen to me that I was scared of a BFN, do I can really empathise with your fellings.

Oh no, I haven’t had this happen and can only imagine how fed up you must be feeling after such a promising start xxx

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ve had a couple not get off the ground for various reasons so understand that intense disappointment and anti-climax. Expect to feel quite low while you’re body recovers from the hormones etc but it does get better I promise! Also it’s best to be 100% fit so you give yourself the best chance of success. Stay strong x x

Thank you for your message x I will be ok and It will work out sooner or later. I need to get my health back on track first, I am so ill at the moment that my GP almost send me to a hospital today! Bloody viruses 🦠
