Fresh cycle cancelled

was just wondering if any one has had a fresh cycle cancelled due to ‘fluid in the lining’ had a scan two days before egg collection, they said there was a small amount of fluid , on the day of egg collection they have collected 12 eggs, but cancelled the transfer because of the fluid, but haven’t said what’s caused it, anyone had this before? And did it happen again?

I'm sorry to hear your transfer has been cancelled. I had an FET in December and prior to getting the go ahead I had fluid also they said it was mucus, they gave me a week and said to go back for another scan in the hope it had gone. Luckily it did. They never said what the fluid/mucus was though xx

it’s a normal response to stims unfortunately and just means estrogen levels are high but usually taking progesterone after egg collection helps dry it up

thank you, because it’s our last funded go I’m worrying about literally everything, but the clinic don’t answer any questions very quickly just tell me ‘it’s nothing to worry about’ 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx
