Hi

Can anyone advise Iv had a FET on Wednesday afternoon 11th of March in Spain . The clinic wants me to have bloods done Friday 20th of March,

I’m struggling with anxiety waiting for the blood test as at Christmas this showed pregnant but a miscarriage was imminent, I wanted to do a pregnancy test before as if it’s negative 😢 I don’t want to waste over £100 on a blood test only to be told what I know. But if it’s positive 😊 🤞🏼🙏🏼 I think this will help me with the build up to my bloods and my stress levels

Congrats on your transfer!

It’s a hard one, the 20th would be 9dp5dt which is still early enough that you might not get a positive home test so if I was in your shoes, I would probably just wait and do the blood test. I know it’s hard but a negative before then definitely wouldn’t be a definitive answer.

I know the waiting is torture. It really is difficult trying to not test before your blood test because i think we figured we might as well find out on our own to avoid being disappointed on the day. i guess you can test 7dp5dt i got my big fat positive then.

I did a stick test on 8 and 10dpt the a blood test on 12dpt. Some GPs will organise a beta for you. If not, there's an online company that charges £39 for HCG beta test. You do a finger prick then send it off. X

Did your stick test vary vs your blood test x

No. My 8dp line was barely visible and they gradually got darker (I did 4 tests in total, every second day). I did a stick and blood on 12dp. The line was still quite faint but clearly visible. My HCG came back at 77 so probably matches the stick. I did another blood test 15dp and my HCG had risen significantly to 324. X
