Hcg is 16 is there a way of it increasing

So this is me I need help I had a missed miscarriage in December I have just had an embryo transfer. Tested on 9 day and got positive. Just had a call from my blood test and they say my hcg is 16 is there a way of it doubling. Am so sad I don’t know what’s happening I feel like my life has come to an end. Is there anyone that has gone through this before and it double. Pls help me pls help me. Been trying for over 10 years now and age is not on my side. Life is so unfair I wish for a miracle at this time. Has anyone had this and gone on to have a successful pregnancy

I just had a chemical because my lines didnt get darker. But everyone is different. I was told to continue my meds untill the line disappeared all together. Im so sorry i cant be of more help. I hope for a miracle as u havent bled so it is still possible. Did they tell u when to re test?
