I was kinda expecting this after a negative home test but doesn’t prepare you for the devastation you feel when the clinic just confirms it. I’ve decided to delay next round to heal a little. We put so much pressure on ourselves and have such high hopes for a positive end result. Sending hugs to all those in same position, please take care of yourselves. Don’t pretend to be ok just do what feels right at the time for you. Drink the wine and coffee - eat the naughty foods. Have the bubble baths. Xxx

I’m really sorry to hear this Nessie, thinking of you. No matter how much we try and prepare ourselves it’s still completely devastating and I find telling the clinic the worst bit. I hope you are looking after yourselves. We had a bit of an enforced break between cycles as my period took forever to come back but i did find it helpful in the end as it gave us some time to try and do fun things and put some joy back in our lives. Wishing you well with your next steps and sending hugs xxx
