BFN - 2nd Cycle

BFN 😭😭 Today we got our BFN from our 2nd cycle, I had a feeling that it hadn’t worked, I resisted the urge to test early because I think deep down I knew, I didn’t feel confident going for the blood test this morning. I’ve cried a lot this afternoon, I just needed to get it out! Follow up appointment booked and we’re going for third time lucky! 🍀🤞🙏 We’ve got 1 Frostie left but I’m 39 so want to go through the full cycle again to try and get more Frosties in storage. Luckily we did a 3 cycle package so it takes the pressure of financially plus I’ve had OHSS with both cycles as I have PCOS so will probably get it each cycle now so we have to do FET’s. Any tips for our next cycle ladies? Xxx

So sorry to hear that.I tested negative yesterday too, and also had a lot of tears 😥 Well done for being so positive and looking forwards, that’s the best tip I would give. Look after yourself and keep up the positive affirmations.

I just need to try and take on some of my own advice!!

Sorry to hear that, I had a good cry yesterday, I needed to just get it out! I’m staying positive and you should definitely listen to your own advice, stay positive, our time will come, it’s just taken a bit longer than we had hoped! 😘

So sorry to hear. I went through a similar situation last month when my second fresh cycle came back as a BFN. For me, it was much harder to hear the second cycle had failed than on my first one. But I did have a follow up consultation with the doctor, which answered a lot of questions I had. And this made me feel a lot more reassured about next steps. Do you have a review appointment with your clinic soon? Might be helpful to ask them questions about what went wrong and what they can do for the next cycle.

Sorry it didn’t work this time for you, it hits you like a freight train doesn’t it?! Yes, we’re booked for our follow up on Friday, hoping to go again on my next cycle. I agree, the second time is so much harder to hear, only because we want it so much! I’m staying positive and going for third time lucky!! X
