Anyone got high AMH?

I doubt mine is really that high compared to some but it’s 38.75pmol/ml which i converted to 5.4ng/ml? Any info would be great. I don’t have symptoms of PCOS so hope it’s not that as already have endo and hydrosalpinx. I suppose would need to be careful with IVF re OSHH?

how old are you? whether it is high or not depends on how old you are... mine was pretty high at the age of 39/40 years when i started doing IVF (4.51 mg/mL, which is more what you would see in your mid-20s) and my first 2 rounds we got 10 high quality blastocysts in total and i definitely think my high AMH was a factor in that (unfortunately due to lining/thawing issues, only 1 of those ended up sticking). I did IVF twice again at 42 and 43, and by then my AMH had halved and the results were nowhere near as good, especially in the first cycle.... but, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant from the second cycle at the age of 43, and I think my good AMH levels also played a role in this pregnancy (as well as a few other extra things like DHEA for 3 months and early egg retrieval, and lower doses of drugs)

thanks very much for sharing. I am 32. So pleased for your pregnancy after such a journey and wish you all the best. I’ve been referred to the IVF clinic and Endo clinic and i’m awaiting an MRI scan re endo. The consultant was quite positive that it can still happen naturally on my good side but i’m very worried about that happening due to the risk of miscarriage from the faulty tube as it leaks into the uterus

could you get the tube removed?

Hi, I'm 33 years old and mine was 29.9, I don't have PCOS. I'm starting IVF in 10 days. The clinic told me that they have a rule that 30 AMH or more, they only do short protocol IVF. As I'm in the limit, they checked my ovaries to see if I had too many follicles before starting treatment. I had around 12 in one ovary and 8 in another. Apparently, more than 25 would be PCOS. They decided I should do a long protocol with low stimulation.
