Luckily I'm so tired from the meds that I don't have enough energy to get properly nervous 😂 otherwise I think I'd be freaking out!! Well done on getting 8, that's fab. How are you feeling? Xx

Oh that’s a good sign lovely!! On my first round I was neither up nor down and didn’t get a great response. This time I was absolutely knackered. Couldn’t even go to work everyday. Some days I was just so tired I didn’t move from my couch. The collection itself is totally fine. Just a bit sore afterwards. You’ll do great! Hope you get fab numbers. Have your follicles being doing well? Xxx

The follicles have been crazy 😂 they're totally out of sync with each other so out of 13, the biggest is 40mm and the smallest is 9mm and then there's every size in between! Anyone's guess how many are usable. I guess we'll know soon! Xx

Mine is due on friday! I am so so nervous because my scan today only showed 5 decent sized follicles. Really disheartened by this but hoping that they actually get some eggs in those follies. We were referred for ICSI because of male factor infertility so literally thought the rest would be pretty straight forward but i haven't responded well to stims good luck to everyone having EC this week!

Similar boat - our issue is male factor but my body has been totally confused about what to do with the meds! Three giant follicles, three about the right size and another seven stubbornly sticking around the 10mm mark - they've given up hoping things will even out and are collecting tomorrow. Wishing you lots of luck - as they say it only takes one!! Xx

I was told I have PCOS though no symptoms of this - just what they saw at a scan. They started me on a low dose of menopur to try and prevent OHHS but i didn't respond at all. I essentially spent 6 wasted days on too low a dose. I was told to expect an absolute max of 5 eggs, with the liklihood of it being less than that. I wasn't remotely reassured and the doctor ended the conversation with "I am so sorry, I know this can be really heartbreaking" so now I have totally broke my heart all day Wishing you lots of luck too! What's meant to be won't pass you by xxx

This is my second round. First round I didn’t respond well at all. I only got 1 egg and it didn’t fertilise. We have male factor infertility as well. Don’t worry ladies. If this time isn’t the one, they learn so much from the cycle ready for the next one. All you need is one tho! My workmate had one egg and he’s 3 years old now. Don’t be disheartened. Xxxx

Egg collection day! I got 4 eggies which I am really pleased with because after breaking my heart the other day I had myself prepared to hear there were none! I'm feeling good, I think it helps that I wasnt under general or anything just a dose of some woozy drug that lasted for the duration of my procedure then I was sent home an hour later. Phoning tomorrow to see how many fertilise and have my fingers, toes and various other body parts crossed!! Now - would it be ridiculous for me to have one celebratory glass of wine? Did anyone else after ER is this a soft drink only type of night?
