Morning all
Thought I would drop a note here as been feeling really rubbish this second time of IVF and I think it’s because I’m on different medication which is Buserelin whereas last time I was on Menopur and Cetrotide! Final scan on Monday and then egg collection on Wednesday! Feeling a mixture of emotions ❤️ We are all warriors remember that and sending lots of well wishes to each and everyone of you ❤️ Thank you for reading x
I also found certain medications had worse side effects than others. Sounds like you are nearly there though, you are doing great so hold on in there! Lots of luck for Wednesday xxx

It’s an emotional roller coaster ! It’s a rubbish thing to be going through so I think it’s ok to feel rubbish some days. Plus our bodies are full of meds . You are nearly there! Count it down and remember to breathe!😘💐

Sorry you're feeling rubbish Elle32inz... as others have said though, not far to go now! Make sure you keep drinking LOADS of fluids, that'd be my main suggestion. I find I really need more sleep than usual so if you can take it, do 👍xx

Surviving! Tough journey though, to say the least. Hoping I have an embryo to transfer Monday 🤞. Trying to chill a bit but it's so hard... I advocated sleeping longer, which I've been doing and that helps. But between that and all the scans and clinic visits I haven't been able to work as much as usual and so then i end up stressed about being behind 🤦♀️😂. Can't win xxx
Good luck for Monday all will be fine and your doing an amazing job xxx don’t worry about work it will always be there I know easier said than done as I feel the same at times! Do what makes you happy and here if you ever want to chat xx it’s our second round but feeling positive as I think you have to! This isn’t easy but the tough journeys show you how strong you are as a couple xx ❤️ Good luck and thinking of you x
I had exactly the same drugs as you, first IVF was with buserelin and menopur; second one with cetrotide and menopur, unfortunately both didn’t work for me but I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! Buserelin was the worst one - I was bloated, tired, hot flashes etc. I know very well what you feel.
May I ask you if you are doing this treatment with NHS?

My second EC was awful! I was in so much pain and was borderline OHSS afterwards. (Although me and Cetrotide didn’t get on from the first round!)The plus side?! It was more successful than my first EC so I have to look at it that it was worth it. You’re so nearly there now so not long to go and like you say, you’re a warrior 💪👊. Good luck x
