I had my FET today, but was also told my progesterone levels were only 35 when really it should be above 50. Im already taking x4 pessaries a day and have now started the additional injections to increase my levels. I feel like im setting myself up for disappointment. Has anyone had low levels before, but managed to have a successful pregnancy? The more I read online the more nervous I become Thank you x

Low progesterone level
Hi, I guess I'm confused because the day of my FET on Tuesday mine was 40 something and they said that was great. Wish I didn't delete the voicemail now! They didn't increase my dose or anything so they are happy with it. I think each clinic has different research they like to adjust things towards, but it's not an exact so I would try not to worry. Best of luck to you xx
My progesterone level on the day of the transfer was 38. The clinic did not mention anything (so assume it was fine). I was taking 3 pessaries daily. They retested my progesterone level the day they tested my bfp (7dp5dt) as I also had a small brown / pink bleeding and it was 9.5, very slightly above the minimum limit. They doubled my progesterone dose and all went well. I have now an almost 8 month old.
Good luck! Xx
Hiya, with round 2 my levels were 31 so they added in daily injections as wanted it above 50. Resulted in a BFP but sadly mmc (prob just to do with that embryo!). All the best x good luck xx
Hi Pma. That's not so low, but you may need some progesterone by injection?? Hopefully it will catch up. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi Pma,
I got told my progesterone was low on transfer day as well and they wanted me to lubion shots. Worked for me, I’m currently 24 weeks 🥰
Try not to worry, the injections make a big difference! I noticed the progesterone side effects within 24 hours of adding them in (sore boobs!) xx
