Day one injection

Hi,

I’ve finally started my first round of IVF today after a long wait!! Fingers crossed it works ☺️

Good luck with your first injection. Are you or your partner giving them?

I started off doing it but found in the end my husband was much better and he didn't bruise as much😁

Thank you! I’m a nurse so used to giving injections ..no injection teach for me today haha..I was literally at the appointment for less than 5 mins. The first injection was ok ..not as bad as I thought it would be..I’ll see how I go tomorrow!

I did my 2nd one tonight..I felt abit nervous during the preparation but the actual injection was fine..just stung a little bit after 😃xx

Yea I the preparation harder as you know wats coming my 3rd this morning was ok the oh is getting the hang of it lol I need to do it myself tonight tho as I’m working 🙈🙈 xx

I would also recommend acupuncture, I was a bit of a sceptic but thought if it chills me out then il go for it. It has worked really well and do think it helps. Sending lots of positivity and good luck xx

Good luck, we started on weds with injections. Im on a really low dose and had no side effects, and they dont hurt at all. Its our first time too.
