Scan yesterday went well. It's a bit of a deflation from having 20+ follicles on day 8 to now only 6 are at 18mm or above and 1 of those might be too big.
So, 5 follicles, but there are 3 at 15mm+ and another 3 at 14mm, so hopefully some of those get up there too!
Egg collection booked for Wednesday! Looking forward to it!
Whoop I think those are super numbers and better quality than quantity - some of those at 14 and 15 could easily catch up by tomorrow! Will be thinking of you and wishing you heaps of luck xx

Hey! It's Wednesday - tomorrow Wednesday! 😊 I took pictures of the follicle graphs on the computer screen. My husband didn't come to two of the scans so I wanted something to show him, and thought I might as well take a picture of yesterday's too even though he came to that one. I instead sent it to my parents who went with me to the other two scans. x
Yaay that's exciting! I thought that would have seemed like a super long stimms phase if it was next week 🤦♀️ Aww that's a brilliant idea! Thank you. My Husband also won't be able to attend all appointments so I was worried I wouldn't take everything in & not be able to relay things accurately from memory. Hi ttcemmie, those numbers are great, quality over quantity most definately is key. You only need the 1 super strong egg to work 💫 it doesn’t matter about quantity. Fingers crossed those other two push a little further by EC tomorrow but I wouldn’t stress too much. My egg collection is tomorrow also, looking forward to it as well as been an anxious few weeks due to our last cycle failing miserably. It’s nice to have a needle free day isn’t it 🙌🏼🙈. Haha you’re so right, I couldn’t deal with 10 babies either 🤣🙈. The next week will be tough as we know, but progressing to this stage of the journey is a huge achievement especially with a batch of potential eggs to choose from. I had 16 from my scan and 9 were collected on Sunday.
I think with the size of your smaller follicles they will get up to the right size for collection so don’t worry.

Eeeeeekkk 🤞 everything goes to plan for Wednesday and u have egg collection. How exciting, I know it's a killer when number start reducing, but I keep telling myself it's not about numbers it's all about quality. Ofcourse u would love to have atleast 2 or 3 to be able to freeze... fingers crossed all 6 progress beautifully.

That's great news! Hard not to get disappointed when you're expecting more but your numbers are good! I had my day 8 scan today and despite higher dosage of meds compared to my first cycle I have fewer follicles than last time. Kick in the teeth isn't it? Egg collection should be Saturday or Monday for me so not too far behind you. Wishing you all the very best for tomorrow xxx

I'm in a similar situation, due for EC on Tuesday. But looks like I only have 5 viable follicles.
Hi love. EC was good. The clinic were lovely, as always, despite being a few staff down. I got 11 eggs, but then they swiftly went down to 7 fertilised. I only had 1 to transfer at blastocyst, and then they let me know the day after that the other 6 didn't make it, which was disappointing, but I'm so happy I have my little embie on board. Best of luck for EC! So soon! You must be excited.

I'm excited, but anxious to say the least. I had my scan today on day 8 but only have 5 follicles, the Dr expected to see more but apparently I didnt respond great to the Gonal F 150.
Did you do the transfer on day 3 or 5?

It was day 5 for me. Was quite worried about it! Can understand your concerns with only 5, but numbers are all over the place each time with this journey. Last cycle I only got 6 eggs but 2 blastocysts, so can't trust that more eggs means a better result! Hopefully this is the cycle for you. Keep us updated. xxxx
