Delayed period during down reg?

My period was due yesterday and I have absolutely nothing. I have to ring my clinic if it doesn't arrive by Monday. I'm so so scared that this is going to delay our cycle as I've a feeling it won't show up! Has anyone any experience of this? What was the outcome? I'm petrified 😔😔😔

It’s very common for down regulation drugs to delay your period. Mine was always delayed at least 6 days. It will come it can just take a bit of time xx

Nope not at all. Once you’ve had a bleed and your lining is nice and thin you’re ready to go. It’s frustrating because it adds a week or so to the process but it doesn’t harm anything xx

It's fairly common for down regulation to delay your period. In my case I I just had to stay on the meds for a bit longer, they didnt cancel the whole cycle.xx

I've just had the exact same thing happen to me. Stopped taking the Norethisterone pills on the 29/10 and didn't start my period until the 05/11 so took 7 days to arrive. I would normally have started my period on the 02/11 (and I am very regular) so the drugs put it out a bit. But as soon as it arrived I called my clinic and was booked in for a baseline scan the following day and started stimms the day after that.
