Egg transfer/delayed period

So I had my egg retirieveal last month my embreyos were then frozen due to investigation. Got the all clear I jus finished my period when I called them and was told to wait for my next one that was the 18th of march I'm now 10 days late and my period is not showing typical! I get I'm had alot of hormones etc is it normal for cycles to be messed up should I jus wait or do I call them anyone been in this boat? This waiting game driving me crazyThanks

The medication can and frequently does mess your periods up Can take a month or 2 till cycle back to whatever is the norm for you ! Give your clinic a call to see what your next step should be

Hi, yes this is normal. Well for me anyway. I’ve had two egg collections (embryos were frozen) since November and each time I had a withdrawal bleed about 10 days after the collection and then had my actual period around 33 days after that. I’m eagerly awaiting for my period any day so that I can start my third collection. Good luck with it all. X

It really is. And to think when you are TTC you spend your time praying for your period not to come but when you are waiting for a cycle you are praying for it to arrive. X

I'm sure what you're experiencing happens and that you should not worry too much. Just keep close contact with your clinic and update them as often as you can. I wish you good luck!
