Hiya, sorry for the tmi in this post just wondered if this is normal.
I'm 9 days in on down regging using suprecur and not due for my period till the weekend but woke up to some spotting/discharge this morning , quite bright red and also brown, I just wondered if this was normal? Should I ring my clinic? My cycle is always on time so just worried why I'm bleeding so early !
**update** its turned to very dark brown spotting*
Anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

Hey, i was told its not really a natural period so might not be like normal. I spotted bright red and went in for my baseline scan but unfortunately because i hadnt had a full bleed my lining was still too thick so they kept me on down reg for another week. I would say wait for heavy bleed then ring xx
Hi Veekay80. AF following down regulation is often a bit different and you get these odd spotting and colours. All due to messing with your hormones. All will settle down and she will arrive when she's ready! Good luck with it all. Diane
Thanks for responding Diane, I called the clinic and they said the same thing. Is it normal to last for this long? it started this morning and now i'm having to wear a sanitary towel now as it hasn't stopped, if it continues through to tomorrow should i call the clinic again as i'm not sure if my periods come early or its just hormones like you say, thanks xx
Hi Veekay80. It's a nuisance I know, but I think it will change to a proper bleed soon. Give yourself a couple of days, and if it hasn't altered ring the clinic, who may have you in for a scan to check all is well. Diane
Hom diane it's turned quite heavy with clots and I've got cramping now too , I will moniter it and if it's still like this will call the clinic tomorrow x
Hi Diane! went for my baseline scan today and blood test and everything is going well and to plan,I start menopaur tomorrow and have to go to a couple of more scans next week and if all goes well my egg retrieval will be on the 9th August, getting quite nervous now! x
Hi Veekay80. Oh well done! So please you are progressing well. I'm sure you are feeling nervous, but they will look after you. Thinking of you as always. Diane
