Waiting for follicles to grow

Hi everyone, so this is day 14 of stimming and I was told yesterday that my follicles still weren’t at the correct size for egg collection on Friday. I have to go back on Friday for another scan and hopefully collection is going to be Monday. This happened on my last egg collection too but can’t help feeling worried. When I had acupuncture last night, she was shocked to find I was in buserelin when I have low AMH as she thought I should of been given the pill as it’s probably been too harsh for my body. Has anyone else experienced this?? X

Hi Ropa. Yes, I wonder why the buserelin, unless they felt you were at risk of overstimulating. However, with a low AMH I wouldn't have thought so. When you go back tomorrow, ask the question. Keeping everything crossed that you do get to egg collection. Diane

Hiya, hope your scan went better today? Having read your post I am now a little worried as I am on my first IVF round and currently on day 6 of buserelin. I have a low AMH of 8 for my age (29). Let me know how you get on - fingers crossed for you xx
