hi ladies. I’m back seeking your advice on booster trigger shot in a FET round.. !!
So, my 5 day blastocysts was transferred in a FET round on Thursday 17th of October, 4 days later they gave me a booster shot of Ovitrelle 250.
At the moment I am 9dpt but only 5 days post Ovitrelle booster shot.
When would you consider a positive to be a real positive. I tested this morning and got a positive on a first response test... I’m sure this is just the Ovitrelle showing at the moment
Anyone have advice on this and when you would consider a real positive!?
Xxxx
Ps sending you all baby dust xx

I don’t know the answer to this (currently wondering myself as desperate to test) but I found this online ‘To ensure accuracy of your HPT following an hCG trigger shot, keep in mind the following guidelines: wait at least 14 days after a 10,000 IU injection, 10 days after a 5,000 IU injection, or 7 days after a 2,500 IU injection’ ... not sure if that’s any use?xx
It’s so frustrating isn’t it.,,, with these booster shots having to wait longer to test. And then if it does show positive your totally second guessing it. I tested again today I guess I’m really testing to see when booster shot leaves the system.
So it’s day 10 day post transfer BUT 6 day post booster shot Ovitrelle 250. Again I got a strong positive!!! I shall test again tomorrow and see if line is any lighter.
OTD is Thursday, I’m booked in for my bloods then,
It really is frustrating... My test day is tomorrow and I have an appointment at the clinic at 8.15 for bloods to see if the FET has worked or not... I haven’t tested at home yet because I think I know that I wouldn’t trust the test either way... I had a full Ovitrelle shot straight after transfer and my transfer was on the 17th so I thought it would be ten days till it was out of my system (today) ... xx
Good luck to you both! I ve never been offered the booster shot, is this something I should ask my clinic for for my next round? Is there a specific reason that you would have the trigger?
Thank you Very much! Good luck to you too! I hope your tests are right!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I imagine that’s what the difference is... I’ve only had the one shot on transfer date, nothing else...
No symptoms really... I’ve had sore boobs and I feel bloated but AF was due on Thursday and it hasn’t arrived yet (🤞🏻) so symptoms could just be that...
Like yourself, boobs are a bit sore and definitely bigger. Started getting light on and off cramping 2 days ago. My period was due today... thankfully no sign yet !! 👍👍🤞A little nauseous every now and then but think that’s prob just the progesterone 😫 Infact all my symptoms are probably down to the drugs.
Ok, well I shall be thinking of you tomorrow. Good luck 🍀
